Norwell MA public schools are highly respected for preparation of students

The Norwell MA Public Schools have always been a well respected educational system in the State of Massachusetts and on the South Shore. Many new families move to Norwell due to the outstanding reputation the Norwell MA public schools have. The fiscal 2019 balanced budget is $54,076,496, of which $27,528,121 falls under education. In the 2017-2018 school year, there was a reported 2,197 students in the school district with per student spending estimated at approximately $14,788.40.

The Norwell MA public schools have one High School, one Middle School and two Elementary Schools, the Grace Farrar Cole Elementary School and the William Gould Vinal Elementary School that generally cover each side of town. Norwell also offers half and full day Kindergarten. Currently, iPads are utilized in grades 4 through 12. iPads are used by the Norwell MA public school district to enhance the learning curriculum through technology. Most grades also utilize Smart Board technology. Norwell also has a new athletic facility called the Clipper Community Complex located at the Norwell High School facility, which consisted of a $3.5 upgrade to its turf fields and track. The addition of the Clipper Community Complex has brought many large scale tournaments and track meets to Norwell.
